These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the ApproveIt web application at approveit.xaigrowthlab.com (the "Service") operated by ApproveIt ("we", "our", "us"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

ApproveIt is a mobile-first web application that enables contractors and service providers to create job quotes, capture customer signatures for approval, generate PDF documents, and send email confirmations. The Service operates primarily on your device using browser-based storage.

2. Account and Access

ApproveIt does not require account creation. The Service stores data locally on your device. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device and any credentials (such as Gmail connections) configured within the application.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use ApproveIt only for lawful business purposes. You may not:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
• Use the email functionality to send spam, unsolicited messages, or harassing content.
• Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others when using the Service.
• Use the Service to collect personal information from individuals without their consent.

4. Customer Signatures

ApproveIt facilitates the collection of electronic signatures for work order approvals. You are responsible for ensuring that the use of electronic signatures complies with applicable laws in your jurisdiction. We do not guarantee the legal enforceability of signatures collected through the Service. Consult with a legal professional regarding the validity of electronic signatures for your specific use case.

5. Gmail Integration

If you connect your Gmail account, you authorize ApproveIt to send emails on your behalf when you explicitly initiate the action. You are responsible for the content of emails sent through the Service. The Gmail integration is subject to Google's Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

6. Data and Storage

Your data is stored locally on your device. We do not maintain backups of your data. You are responsible for exporting and backing up your data regularly using the export feature in Settings. We are not liable for data loss due to browser cache clearing, device failure, or any other cause.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep ApproveIt available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

8. Intellectual Property

The ApproveIt application, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by us. You retain ownership of all data you enter into the Service, including quotes, customer information, and uploaded images.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ApproveIt and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ApproveIt and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maine, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
